The Avikar Singh Foundation launches its #MindMyMood campaign to uplift our children’s dignity and combat period poverty. Due to menstruation, girls in South Africa miss class and stay home. The taboo around menstruation restricts their capacity to participate equally in society. Their social standing and self-esteem are damaged. In spite of their inability to pay for sanitary goods, we grant teens the freedom to play sports, attend school, and engage in other activities.
